Hale Koa Hotel Visit 2009

In October of 2009, the Public and Human Service Core Class, along with two Public and Human Service Directed Studies students went to the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii.  There they learned about the Hospitality and Tourism industry and got to see the inner workings of the Hotel.  Providing community service while there, the group wrapped Oktoberfest cookies in Cling Wrap and then attached ribbons.  Oktoberfest is a large holiday in Germany and it is common to wear the Gingerbread cookie around their necks as a necklace.
